The video role plays presented different challenges likely to come up in EMDR therapy
Each video presented how the challenge could be resolved using an appropriate intervention
Rather than focus on ‘how to do it right’, these videos taught her to what to do when things ‘go wrong’, e.g. the client dissociates, or can’t face the trauma
Step by step guidelines for each intervention meant she was never confused or lost when she started to practice an intervention.
